At Measurement Systems Ltd, we recently conducted a comprehensive hands-on training session for students from Karumo Technical Training Institute, focusing on the practical use of modern GNSS surveying equipment. The session introduced learners to advanced tools such as the SinoGNSS P6H, P8H, and high-performance RTK systems including the Muya M9plus, SinoGNSS Venus Laser RTK, Geoposition G6, and Toknav T10pro. Students were guided through real-world applications, gaining a clear understanding of how these technologies enhance accuracy and efficiency in field surveying.
The training emphasized the operation of both CORS-enabled rover systems and full base-rover GNSS setups with UHF and GSM capabilities. Participants explored how these systems function in different surveying environments, including data collection, positioning techniques, and workflow integration. In addition, the session incorporated the use of total station equipment, giving students a well-rounded experience across both GNSS and conventional surveying methods.
Overall, the program was designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice by equipping students with industry-relevant skills. Through direct interaction with professional-grade equipment, the trainees built confidence, technical competence, and a deeper appreciation for modern surveying solutions. Measurement Systems Ltd remains committed to empowering the next generation of surveyors through practical, skill-driven training.
