The REED R2340 is a professional-grade infrared thermometer combining a 55:1 distance-to-spot ratio with an integrated Type K thermocouple input, letting technicians take both non-contact IR readings (down to -50C/1850C) and direct-contact probe measurements from the same unit. It logs up to 999 data points internally and also reports ambient temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and wet-bulb temperature alongside the target reading. A rechargeable 2600mAh Li-ion battery (USB-C charging, roughly 20 hours of runtime) and trigger lock make it practical for extended monitoring in furnaces, kilns, heat-transfer piping, metal refining, and similar high-temperature industrial settings.
