The REED R5004 is a handheld tester that quickly tells electricians whether a 3-phase circuit or motor is wired for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, and identifies which of the three phases is live. Its rugged double-molded housing handles input voltages from 40 to 600 VAC across a 2 to 400 Hz frequency range, running on a single 9V battery.
