The REED R8070SD is a triple-range data-logging sound level meter (covering 30-130 dB across Low/Med/High/Full bands) built to IEC 61672-1 Type 2 accuracy, with a backlit LCD, Max/Min hold and data-hold functions for fast field readings. Logged data is written directly to an onboard SD card (up to 16GB) either manually or at a programmable sampling interval from 1 to 3600 seconds, and can be pulled off as an Excel-ready file without any dedicated software. It's supplied with a foam windscreen, soft carry case and batteries, making it a practical everyday tool for industrial hygiene and environmental noise surveys.
