The REED R8085 is a lightweight, clip-on personal noise dosimeter designed to track an individual worker's cumulative sound exposure over a shift in line with OSHA and CCOHS survey requirements. It measures from 35-130 dB across a 31.5 Hz-8 kHz frequency range with A/C weighting and fast/slow time response, rated to roughly +/-1.0 dB (Type 2) accuracy, and logs both instantaneous dB levels and percentage dose. Data is retrieved afterward via USB with separately sold REED software, and the unit comes with a lapel microphone, wrist strap, carrying case and batteries.
