A handheld 3D laser scanner from ComNav's SinoGNSS line that uses SLAM-based simultaneous localization and mapping rather than GNSS signals, so it can capture point clouds indoors, outdoors, or underground. It scans out to about 120 metres with a 360 x 285 degree field of view and up to roughly 320,000 points per second, reaching about 1 cm point accuracy in its longer-range mode. A dual hot-swappable battery pack lets operators keep scanning continuously without powering down to change batteries.
