At Measurement Systems Limited, we pride ourselves on supplying high-quality, precision-engineered surveying and testing equipment. We want you to be completely confident in your purchase.

1. Warranty Policy

All equipment sold by Measurement Systems Limited is covered by a Manufacturer’s Warranty against material defects and workmanship.

  • Duration: The warranty period typically varies between 12 to 24 months depending on the manufacturer (ComNav, TokNav, FOIF, etc.). Please check your specific documentation or proforma invoice.
  • Coverage: Covers technical faults or failures occurring during normal use within the specified period.
  • Exclusions (Void Warranty): The warranty does NOT cover:
    • Damage caused by misuse, drops, impact, or accidents.
    • Water or dust damage exceeding the instrument's IP rating.
    • Unauthorized Repairs: Any attempt to open, repair, or recalibrate by non-authorized personnel immediately voids the warranty.
    • Normal wear and tear of consumables (batteries, cables, poles).

2. Returns & Exchange

We accept returns under specific conditions to ensure technical integrity and fairness.

  • Return Window: Items may be returned within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Eligibility: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by all manuals, cables, and the original receipt.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Software licenses (once activated), custom-ordered equipment, and opened consumables.
Restocking Fee: Due to the technical nature of precision instruments, returns may be subject to a 10-15% restocking and inspection fee. This covers the mandatory testing and recalibration verification required before an instrument can be resold.

3. Damaged or Defective Items (DOA)

If your order arrives damaged or is technically defective upon first use (Dead on Arrival):

  • Notify Us Immediately: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at +254 798 519 942.
  • Documentation: Provide photos of the damage (including packaging) to sales@measurementsystems.org.
  • Resolution: We will arrange for an immediate replacement or repair at no cost once the defect is verified.

4. Refunds

  • Process: Once received and technical inspection is complete, we will notify you of the refund status.
  • Timeline: Approved refunds are processed via original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Shipping: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an MSL error.
