Our Journey Since 2012
2012 - Nairobi HQ, Kenya & Suzhou FOIF
Measurement Systems Limited began from its Nairobi headquarters with Suzhou FOIF as a core survey brand, supporting clients with total stations, theodolites, levels and dependable optical instruments.
2014 - SinoGNSS & Field Support Growth
We added SinoGNSS to strengthen our GNSS and RTK positioning portfolio, while expanding hands-on product support, operator training and practical after-sales guidance for survey teams.
2015 - Muya Survey Accessories
Muya accessories became part of our field offering, helping customers access tripods, staffs, prisms, poles, measuring tools and practical site essentials alongside their instruments.
2017 - GNSS, RTK & Field Workflow Growth
We expanded our GNSS, RTK, total station and field data workflows to support faster, more accurate cadastral, topographic, construction and infrastructure projects.
2020 - Uganda Office
We extended our regional support footprint into Uganda, improving access to equipment supply, hire, training, calibration coordination and technical assistance for survey and engineering clients.
2022 - Rwanda Office, Reed Instruments & Bosch
Our Rwanda office strengthened regional support, while Reed Instruments and Bosch expanded our portfolio into professional test tools, site measurement, laser layout and construction productivity solutions.

Toknav joined our portfolio to support modern positioning, navigation and efficient RTK field workflows for survey, mapping and construction teams.
2024 - Malawi Office, Topcon & Dewalt
The Malawi office broadened our Southern Africa reach, while Topcon and Dewalt added more survey, construction positioning, site tools and jobsite support capability to our regional offering.
2026 - One Regional Standard
Today, our Kenya headquarters and subsidiaries in Uganda, Rwanda and Malawi operate under one coordinated service standard for equipment supply, hire, training, calibration and repair support.
Our Story
Measurement Systems Limited was established to bridge the gap between advanced measurement technology and the professionals who rely on it every day. What began as a Kenya-based equipment supply business has grown into a regional technical partner serving surveyors, engineers, contractors, GIS teams, inspection specialists and field service organisations.
Our Nairobi headquarters remains the operational centre of the business, coordinating procurement, technical support, training standards, calibration workflows and regional service quality. From that base, our Uganda, Rwanda and Malawi offices help customers access the same level of product knowledge, practical advice and after-sales support closer to their project locations.
We work with equipment that supports the full project lifecycle: planning, field data capture, setting-out, monitoring, inspection, construction layout, reporting and maintenance. Our portfolio brings together Suzhou FOIF, SinoGNSS, Toknav, Topcon, Reed Instruments, Muya, Bosch and Dewalt so clients can source survey instruments, GNSS systems, test tools, accessories, laser tools and jobsite equipment through one knowledgeable team.
