CORS GNSS Training Brings Real-Time Precision Surveying to Kakamega
Measurement Systems Ltd hosted a hands-on CORS and GNSS training session in Kakamega, walking surveyors and land professionals through real-time kinematic (RTK) positioning using the Muya CORS network. Participants worked directly with GNSS receivers to see how continuously operating reference stations cut down field time and improve coordinate accuracy across Western Kenya. The session closed with a practical Q&A on integrating CORS corrections into everyday survey workflows.

About the event
Kakamega's CORS and GNSS training on 10 July 2025 attracted forty-two participants from County Lands, KeNHA, JOYOOTA Survey, Aganyo, Flexland Consultants and others.
