Siaya CORS Training Strengthens Local Surveying Capacity
Measurement Systems Ltd returned to Siaya County for a CORS training session aimed at strengthening local surveying capacity, giving participants hands-on time with GNSS rovers connected live to the Muya CORS network. The training covered network RTK basics, coordinate reference systems in use locally, and best practices for maintaining fix quality in the field.

About the event
Siaya's CORS training on 15 August 2025 had fifty-three participants, nineteen of them from Trinity Geospatial, with others from Nyawade, Plan B and Mapzone. Hands-on RTK with GNSS rovers on the Muya CORS network came first, then total station work, with LIDAR and GPR equipment shown last so the group could see how the methods combine.Follow our news and events for upcoming trainings and demonstrations.
