GNSS Training at KURA Headquarters Showcases CORS Network

Measurement Systems Ltd delivered a GNSS training session at the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) headquarters, introducing road-sector engineers and surveyors to the Muya CORS network and how real-time RTK corrections can support faster, more accurate setting-out and as-built surveys on road projects.

About the event

On 2 February 2021 the MSL team took the CORS demonstration to the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) headquarters in Nairobi. Engineers and surveyors there looked at GNSS rovers with CORS corrections beside total station measurements for road alignment and setting-out, and discussed where LIDAR scanning and GPR equipment help with road corridors, pavement assessment and buried utilities. Seven participants received certificates.
