The MUYA GT280FNF is a digital coating thickness gauge for checking paint, powder-coat, and other non-magnetic coating thickness on both ferrous (steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, etc.) substrates -- the F/NF dual-mode capability found on comparable factory models. It gives a digital LCD readout with automatic substrate detection and single or continuous measurement modes, typically covering a range up to roughly 1,250 microns. Its pocket-sized, handheld build makes it convenient for quick on-site checks such as used-car paint inspection or metal fabrication quality control.
