Handheld coating thickness gauge that checks the thickness of non-magnetic coatings -- such as paint, powder coat or plating -- on both magnetic and non-magnetic metal substrates, covering a 0-1000 micron range. It recognizes the connected probe automatically, supports quick field zeroing, and switches between micron and mil units on its large LCD. The set includes both a ferrous and a non-ferrous probe along with calibration standards, so one unit covers steel as well as aluminum, brass and similar bases.
