The REED R6013 is a compact, pocket-sized pin-type moisture detector that uses electrical resistance to check moisture content in wood as well as building materials like cardboard, paper, plaster, concrete, and mortar. It has an LCD bargraph display, replaceable pins, a low-battery indicator, and an automatic shut-off after 15 minutes of inactivity. It runs on three CR2032 batteries and comes with a belt clip and protective cap for portability on job sites.
