A dedicated data-logging light meter reading from roughly 2,000 up to 100,000 lux (200-10,000 foot-candles) through a detachable, protective-covered sensor, with an optional thermocouple probe available for simultaneous contact-temperature logging. Readings can be recorded straight to an SD card (up to 16GB) at intervals from 1 second to an hour, and the meter can export the log as an Excel file without extra software. It runs on 6 AA batteries or an AC adapter for continuous long-term monitoring, and mounts on a tripod for unattended use.
