The REED R9030-NIST is the same pen-style Leeb hardness tester as the standard R9030, using a universal D impact device to give quick, portable hardness readings across seven scales (Rockwell HRC/HRB/HRA, Brinell, Leeb, Vickers and Shore) on metals such as steel, aluminum, bronze and cast iron. It features a rechargeable battery good for around 40 hours of operation, an OLED display, and internal memory that logs hundreds of measurements for later review. This version includes a NIST-traceable certificate of calibration for applications requiring documented measurement accuracy.
