Our team planned for the CORS demonstration and training in Measurement Systems Limited offices in Nairobi where the training comprised of two sessions, the theoretic and field practice.
We were visited by some of our future surveyors in Kenya from different schools such as Regional Centre for Mapping and Research Development, Technical University of Kenya, University of Nairobi and also private surveyors. During the practical training, the surveyors where trained on how to configure a base rover system and also how to connect any RTK rover (using the M9 RTK Network Rover, N3 receiver and Gintec G40 receiver) to get corrections from a CORS station and demonstration on how RTK system works.
