We were invited by the Kenya Institute of Surveying and Mapping to make technical demonstrations as they were celebrating the GIS day.
As a company, we showcased on the technological trends on modern surveying and mapping equipment including GNSS and CORS network. We explained the evolution of RTK GNSS base/rover systems to the use of CORS technology with network rover systems and the ease they have brought in data collection in real time.
The students and lecturers, with attendance from some of the surveyors from Survey Of Kenya (Ruaraka), really appreciated the advancement in technology from use of base/rover setup to the use of CORS technology using a network rover.
