We recently concluded a successful training session in Kakamega, bringing together survey professionals, students, and tech enthusiasts eager to enhance their geospatial skills. The event focused on hands-on learning, giving participants the opportunity to interact directly with advanced surveying tools and technologies.
A major highlight of the day was the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) demonstration. Attendees witnessed how GPR can detect underground utilities, buried structures, and voids without excavation—proving to be a game-changer in modern surveying and construction projects. The practical showcase sparked great interest and discussion around its potential in local projects.
In addition to the GPR, we showcased a wide range of RTK GNSS systems, tablets, and handheld mapping devices designed for precision, reliability, and efficiency in the field. The session ended with participants feeling more empowered, equipped, and inspired to adopt smart surveying solutions in their work.
