On the 7th of August, we held a free CORS demonstration and training which was held at the Bantu Hotel & Resort in Kangundo Road.
We did a demonstration on the modern RTK systems which are incorporated with laser technology, which comes in handy when picking and setting out in in-accessible areas. We explained the evolution of RTK GNSS base/rover systems to the use of CORS technology with network rover systems and the ease they have brought in data collection in real time.
The training was quite extensive and interactive covering from usage of RTKs, CORS technology and working around of total station.
