The Busia training, held on 18th July 2025 at Farm View Hotel, brought together professionals from various geospatial and engineering fields, including land surveyors, GIS officers, planners, cartographers, and civil engineers. The goal of the session was to equip participants with practical knowledge and experience in using the latest GNSS and RTK technologies for accurate and efficient surveying.
Measurement Systems Ltd led the hands-on training, showcasing a range of advanced equipment such as the Muya RTK series and introducing the benefits of using the Muya-CORS network. Participants were taken through real-time positioning workflows, data collection techniques, and system configurations. They had the opportunity to interact with the devices, ask in-depth technical questions, and troubleshoot in live field scenarios.
The event not only strengthened technical capacity but also fostered professional networking and collaboration among attendees. With high engagement and positive feedback, the Busia training marked another successful milestone in empowering Kenya’s geospatial workforce and advancing the adoption of smart survey solutions across the region.
