The R2950 is a Type K immersion/general-purpose probe intended for dipping into liquids such as water, oils and non-corrosive fluids, with a straight stainless probe roughly 6.1 inches long, a 5-inch handle and a 39-inch coiled lead, spanning -58 to 1112F (-50 to 600C). Its quick response time makes it suitable for routine process and quality checks wherever a liquid temperature needs to be read directly. The -NIST version bundles a NIST-traceable calibration certificate for auditable measurements.
