On 31th March 2022 our team went to Kakamega for a free CORS technology demonstration and training.
The training was attended by surveyors from the Ministry of Lands Kakamega and those in Private practice.
We had a theory session on CORS technology and a practical session afterwards. During the practical training, they were taught on how to configure any RTK rover to get corrections from a CORS station and demonstration on how RTK system works. We also displayed some of our other machines such as Digital levels, total stations and handheld GPSs. The surveyors were receptive and grateful.
