Our team went for the CORS demonstration and training in the Eldoret Technical Training Institute in Eldoret where the training comprised of two sessions, the theoretic and field practice. The training comprised of all the students undertaking land surveying.
During the practical training, the students and lecturers where trained on the basic concept of a base/rover setup and how to configure any RTK rover to get corrections from a CORS station and demonstration on how RTK system works. There was also a demonstration on usage of a total station.
