Our team went for the CORS demonstration and training in the Bulleys Hotel in Thika where the training comprised of two sessions, the theoretic and field practice.
During the practical training, the surveyors where trained on the basic concept of a base/rover setup and how to configure any RTK rover to get corrections from a CORS station and demonstration on how RTK system works. We also did training on setting up a total station and how it works.
The surveyors and students who had attended the training really appreciated and learnt a lot during the training.
