Our team planned for the CORS demonstration and training in Measurement Systems Limited offices in Nairobi where the training comprised of two sessions, the theoretic and field practice.
During the practical training, the surveyors where trained on the basic concept of a base/rover setup using the ComNav N3 Base/Rover RTK system and how to configure any RTK rover to get corrections from a CORS station and demonstration on how RTK system works. Those who had joined the training with there RTK systems were shown how to configure them with CORS network.
The surveyors and students who had attended the training really appreciated and learnt a lot during the training.
